  • Can I apply on behalf of my child?
    • No.  The lease holder needs to apply and authorize the screening.

  • How does my child apply?
    • Click the Apply Now button in the upper right corner on the website.  There is a $50 application fee.  The system will also ask you to pay a deposit at this time. Paying the deposit at this time is only required if you’d like to reserve a unit.  If your child chooses to pay the deposit at this time, they can do so with a credit card.  If they skip this step, they will have to mail in a check, money order or cashier’s check, or stop by the management office with one of these forms of payment.
  • What documents do I need as a co-signer?
    • Co-signers must also apply.  However, management will send a link after the student applies.  Wait for this link, as it by-passes co-signers paying the application fee.  Co-signers also need a notarized personal guarantee which management will send via email.  Co-signers need to also send in one of the following:
      • Letter from a personal accountant on the accountant’s letterhead with the yearly income
      • Two consecutive check stubs
      • Top sheet of last year’s taxes with the adjusted gross income
      • Copy of 529 account information listing tenant as account holder or beneficiary
    • All documents can be sent to Leasing@thecloudonfifth.com

  • What is included?
    • Couch or sofa, one or two armchairs (depends on apartment size), end table, coffee table, TV stand, kitchen island and stools, desk, desk chair, full size bed with mattress, chest of drawers.  All utilities: heat, AC, electric, water, sewer, trash, in unit washer and dryer, internet (tenant provides router).  Each bedroom has a solid core door with an electronic lock and deadbolt.  Each bedroom has a walk in closet with a private bathroom.  Kitchens are fully stocked with appliances including: stove, range, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and garbage disposal.

  • What steps have been taken to make the building safer?
    • All outside common entry doors are controlled access, meaning tenants need an electronic fob to enter.  We have cameras in common areas including elevators, garages, stairwells, hallways and lobbies.  All tenant doors are solid core with deadbolts and electronic fobs.  Staff does rounds, including during the week in the evenings and a security company completes rounds on weekends.  We have a 24-7 response service for maintenance emergencies as well as on-site professional management and maintenance staff.
